Raymond Franklin

Raymond A. Franklin is a retired healthcare management professional with more than two decades of experience in academic medicine, human resources, and healthcare administration. Most recently, he served as Project Manager for the University of Kansas Medical Center’s Human Resources Department, where he coordinated outreach initiatives, managed multiple projects, and mentored HR team members.
Previously, Raymond was Senior Administrator at The University of Kansas Health System, directing financial strategy and business operations for the Departments of Rehabilitation Medicine and Pathology & Laboratory Medicine. His leadership optimized financial performance while supporting patient care, academic excellence, and research goals. Earlier in his career, he served as Human Resources Director at the Kansas City Orthopaedic Institute, overseeing HR functions for nearly 200 employees and physicians.
Raymond earned a Master of Public Administration from the University of Kansas and a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from St. Mary University. He has served as a board member of the Kansas University Medical Center Credit Union and was active in the Association of Academic Physiatrists, Directors Section.
