These grants will allow The Foundation to support families with rent and utility payments, internet and connectivity access and have a major impact in the community.

Greater Kansas City Community Foundation COVID Response and Recovery Grant - Funds will allow the District to continue to provide services for students and their families during this difficult time. It will allow the District to continue providing housing support in the form of rent, mortgage and utilities to the families in the district that need additional financial support. Funds from the Response and Recovery Fund will allow the Foundation to support these services to the students and their families with critical needs in the district.

GKCCF Connectivity Emergency Response Grant - Will help underwrite the improvement of internet access for students living in homes without access or homeless students and families, and software and web support for the organization. This grant will allow support a Needs Assessment to determine how many families/households are impacted by the lack of connectivity.

Unified Government CARES Act Funding Grant - This grant is for essential support to keep students and their families well informed during the pandemic. Funds will be used to facilitate internet access for students and their families, provide guidance about protocols and share information they can use as a resource for getting support. Funds will also be used to pay for software and web support to continue to share information online.
