Tonesia “Toni” Vaughn is a licensed professional counselor, community leader, entrepreneur, and advocate for healing and hope. A 2001 graduate of Washington High School, she brings more than 18 years of mental health experience to her role as Director of Prevention and Intervention at AdHoc Group Against Crime. There, she leads violence-prevention, victim-support, and trauma-informed initiatives that help individuals and families recover after crisis.
Toni is also a licensed cosmetologist and the owner of The Hair Gallery Extension & Blow-Out Bar, a business she has led for more than 11 years. Her work across counseling, community programs, and entrepreneurship reflects her belief that wellness includes both emotional healing and personal confidence. As a speaker, educator, and mentor, she works to reduce the stigma surrounding mental health and equip families, professionals, and organizations with practical tools for resilience. Whether counseling clients, supporting victims, or encouraging emerging leaders, Toni helps people recognize that difficult experiences do not have to define their future.
