Bryan D. Woodson

Bryan D. Woodson has built his career around expanding educational access and helping students recognize what is possible for their futures. As Manager of Outreach, Engagement, and Scholarships at the Thurgood Marshall College Fund, he develops national outreach strategies, builds partnerships with colleges and community organizations, and connects students—particularly those attending Historically Black Colleges and Universities—with scholarship opportunities and application support. His work has engaged thousands of students and contributed to the awarding of more than $2 million in scholarships.
A first-generation college graduate, Bryan brings more than 10 years of higher education experience in higher education and social work experience to his leadership. He is also pursuing a doctorate in Higher Education Leadership at Clark Atlanta University, where his research focuses on financial access and student persistence among HBCU students. Through mentorship, school visits, workshops, and service with Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity, Inc., Bryan continues to open doors for students and families.
