Troy Hodges was a husband, father, grandfather, teacher, and coach. He dedicated his life to preparing young people for life. The success of his students and student athletes at J.C Harmon High School in Kansas City, Kansas was very important to him. His leadership as teacher and coach was honored by his induction into four Halls of Fame. He always reminded others that it was the students and the athletes that made his selection possible.
Troy was most interested in helping young people to achieve at the highest level possible in the classroom, on the wrestling mat, or the football field. Through countless hours hours of hard work and tremendous patience he was successful in leading teams to victory. He taught young people the skills that would lead them into becoming productive citizens. In all things he urged them to "Do The Right Thing".
