Brandy Palacios, DPT, is a seasoned physical therapy professional with over 15 years of experience spanning outpatient orthopedics, home health, acute care, and workers’ compensation. She is recognized for her comprehensive expertise in a wide range of therapeutic programs and modalities designed to restore function and mitigate disability for patients with diverse medical conditions. Brandy is deeply committed to delivering high-quality care and achieving superior patient outcomes through collaborative, multidisciplinary teams.
Brandy holds a Doctor of Physical Therapy from the University of St. Mary, where she completed her dissertation with distinction, as well as a Master’s in Exercise Science from California University of Pennsylvania. Her clinical and academic leadership includes roles such as the Physical Therapy Assistant Program Director of Clinical Education at Concorde Career College and adjunct teaching positions at Metropolitan Community College and Missouri Western State University.
Currently, Brandy serves as a physical therapist at Ignite Medical Resorts and The Healthcare Resort of Shawnee, where she evaluates and treats patients with a wide range of diagnoses, focusing on enhancing mobility, strength, and independence. She is also an active board member of the Heart of America Alzheimer’s Foundation, a Certified Higher Education Professional, and a dedicated volunteer, serving as Healthy Athletes Clinical Director for Kansas Special Olympics and on the Kansas City Miss Juneteenth Committee.
Brandy is licensed to practice physical therapy in Kansas and Missouri and is a proud member of the American Physical Therapy Association and Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated. Her career reflects a strong commitment to education, mentorship, and advancing best practices in physical therapy.
