Change for Change Campaign Launch: 

Together, We Can Make a Difference

Calling all KCKPS Staff!

The Kansas City, Kansas School Foundation for Excellence is excited to launch the Change for Change Campaign, a friendly competition to raise funds using coin jars provided by the Foundation and show our collective support for our amazing students. In addition to supporting the KCKS Foundation; a portion of the proceeds will support the United Way of Greater Kansas City.

 

How it Works:

1. Look for the Coin Jar: A designated coin jar will be placed in a central location in your building.
2. Start Collecting: Gather your spare change, including pennies, nickels, dimes, quarters, and dollar bills.
3. Drop Off Your Change: Deposit your coins and bills into the designated jar.

Central Office Departments:

• Rally your colleagues! Departments can participate on their own or join up with one other department to form a team and compete to raise the most change for the Foundation.
• The winning team will be rewarded with a delicious coffee truck visit – perfect for jumpstarting your mornings!
• Mark your calendars: The competition runs from December 3rd to December 17th, 2024.
• Spirit Week (Dec.16th-19th)
  • Monday- School Spirit Day-Wear your School Colors
  • Tuesday- Grinch Day, dress as your favorite character
  • Wednesday- Chiefs Day
  • Thursday- Pajama Day
     

Schools & Buildings:

• Gear up for some friendly competition! Each school/building can participate and compete.
• Every penny counts! Coins and bills collected during the campaign period will translate into points towards your school's total.
• The winning school's staff will be treated to a coffee truck visit right at their location – a much-deserved caffeine boost!
• The race for the top starts December 3rd and ends December 17th, 2024.
